BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The agenda be approved as amended pursuant to the addendum.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do hereby adopt the minutes of the Regular Council Meeting held on February 10, 2026, as circulated.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do now hold a Statutory Public Meeting pursuant to the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, to consider the following application(s): Consent Applications B1-26 and B2-26, and Zoning By-Law Amendment Application Z1-26 by applicants Manuel Marcos and Rod Finnie on behalf of owners Jorge Dos Santos and Adelaide Dos Santos Anacleto for property location 022159 Erin-East Garafraxa Townline, Part Lot 1, Part 2 on RP 7R1763, Concession 12; and Consent Application B3-26 and Zoning By-Law Amendment Application Z2-26 by applicant Van Harten Surveying c/o Chris Corosky on behalf of owner Leroy Robert Livingston for property location 023039 Erin-East Garafraxa Townline, West Part of Lot 1, Concession 14.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do hereby adjourn the Public Meeting and resume regular business.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: the Council of the Township of East Garafraxa hereby receives the 2025 tax rebate requests submitted by Community Living Dufferin and Theatre Orangeville for the property municipally known as 065371 Dufferin County Road 3, Concession B, East Part Lot 6; AND THAT Council grant a tax rebate with respect to the commercial taxes levied for the tenant, Theatre Orangeville, in the amount of $26,053.77, representing 100% of the commercial taxes (Township, County of Dufferin, and Education portions) levied for the 2025 taxation year, pursuant to County of Dufferin By-law 2025-12, being a By-law to Provide Property Tax Rebates to Eligible Charities for the Year 2025.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council of the Corporation of the Township of East Garafraxa do hereby adopt the 2026 Budget as presented; And further that the Township 2026 Tax Levy be set at $4,841,391.00; And further that the 2026 Budget Estimates By-law be prepared for the next meeting of Council.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Township of East Garafraxa hereby petitions the County of Dufferin to review the safety conditions at the intersection of Dufferin County Road 3 and A Line and requests that improvements be made to enhance the safety of the intersection; AND FURTHER THAT Council requests an update on the status of the review of the intersection of Dufferin County Road 24 (Trafalgar), Wellington County Road 24 (Trafalgar), and the East Garafraxa–Erin Townline, pursuant to Council resolution dated September 24, 2024.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council approve the revised Council Meeting schedule for 2026; And further that the Special Council Meeting for the Official Plan Statutory Public Meeting be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 4:30 p.m.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council receive the Revised Multi-Year Accessibility Plan dated February 2, 2026.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: a Closed Meeting of Council be held pursuant to Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the following reason(s): 16.1 Adoption of Closed Meeting Minutes 16.2 Building Services Agreement, County of Dufferin Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do hereby resume regular business in open session. Staff instructed in accordance with Closed Meeting discussions.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Leave be given to introduce a by-law, being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the Township of East Garafraxa at its meeting held on February 24, 2026, and that it be given the necessary readings and be passed and numbered 9-2026.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Council do now adjourn to meet again for the Regular Council Meeting on March 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., or at the call of the Chair.
